If you’re new to Nina’s Olivar and our olive oil products, let’s get you up to speed with three things you should know about us.
We own our olive oil farm in Almeria, and personally oversee the entire hand-picking, cold pressing and bottling process from our farm in Spain to North Carolina, meaning we know exactly what goes into each and every bottle of Almeria Gold Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Every single green olive that goes into our products has been hand-picked by our wonderful team in Spain (read more about the process here), and so when we say we are “single source”, “EU certified organic” and “sustainable”, we mean it! That makes us different to many others in the olive oil business (especially the big retailers) who may not even know where their olives come from!
We are the most awarded olive oil company in North Carolina, with over 40 industry awards and recognitions, including Gold and Silver at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition for 3 years running.
We let our olive oil do all the talking for us, and boy does it talk! From its taste and versatility as an olive oil, to its health benefits and role in bringing an authentic Mediterranean diet to the people of North Carolina that wish to adopt healthy habits, we have been recognised by many as the olive oil brand to watch out for! That includes the New York International Olive Oil Competition – essentially the Oscars of the olive oil business and industry – who have awarded Almeria Gold Extra Virgin Oil for 3 years in a row since we’ve been eligible!
